Gold Foiling Simple and Pretty Valentines

|

I've been really wanting to use this Heidi Swapp Minc 6x6 paper pack, I've had it around for quite some time. This geometric pink print really stood out to me.
I was able to make 4 cards using one sheet of paper, awesome!

I used HS gold foil and ran in through my laminating machine, sandwiched between 2 pieces of printer paper. I've heard the Minc machine works amazing, but I can't justify buying it when my laminator works just as well as any 'foiling' machine.

I wanted to keep them really simple and wanted them to just be 'pretty'. So I love the clean white backdrop for the pink and gold paper.  The doilies make them look so dainty and sweet and give a great juxtoposition from the hard lines of the paper

Lawn Fawn's Winter Unicorn Stamp seemed perfect for the girly look I was going for. When stamping the sentiment I simply left out 'for Christmas' and it worked great for a Valentine's
sentiment. On the inside I stamped 'and a unicorn'. Their sayings always crack me up!

I don't have the matching die, so I like to use EK Success Small Precision Scissors for fussy cutting. They are so sharp! And to trim longer straight edges, like the doily around the card, I recommend some bigger scissors like Fiskers Amplify, 10 inches.

I coloured my unicorns with some Pastel Copics and a put ton of Wink of Stella on top. Every unicorn needs to sparkle!
The gold twine and miniature clothes pin give some more detail and texture.

These came together so quickly and I am just in love with their clean simplicity.

Thanks again for stopping by and
